Environmental economics has traditionally been conducted in a closed economy mode. Most textbooks on the subject still reflect this restriction: international aspects of environmental problems are often not covered at all or dealt with as an afterthought. Anyone interested in international environmental issues should have a look at this volume. It's up to date, comprehensive and informative. It's also an easy read. It worked for me as an excellent starting point for my research and I still use it for reference a lot.

Esta obra "El Paraíso: Destino Histórico de la Globalización" mas que literatura es historia y mas aún, es historia futura que la humanidad sueña en transitar.
Sus columnas, sus bases, sus temas sobre los cuales se ha desarrollado este libro, interpretando los hechos y exponiéndolos sucintamente, son (3) tres:
1º La Globalización, sus causas y sus efectos.
El error de pretender resolver los problemas del siglo XXI con los métodos y procedimientos del siglo XX y anteriores.
2º EL Paraíso, un concepto real y modesto, abierto a todas las opiniones y;
3º El Hombre y la mujer, la humanidad que va a construir ese Paraíso.
Las posibilidades que se plantean, dejan margen para que cada cual tenga sus conclusiones, teniendo en cuenta que los acontecimientos y problemas del presente siglo, están ocurriendo y los estamos viviendo.

Para el autor ese camino de desarrollo, crisis y guerra, ya ha terminado y la Era de la Paz se dislumbra, como una Era que via la globalizacion a empezado a plantar los cimientos de una sociedad mundial que construira el Paraiso, donde reinara la Paz, el Bienestar y la Libertad.
Este libro analiza los capitulos de la historia en los que el hombre a pretendido globalizar el planeta, y no a logrado tal empeno, porque no se han dado las condiciones que permitan el sostenimiento del mundo global; el autor tambien hace una descripcion somera del gran desarrollo cientifico, tecnico, economico, social y financiero, que ha logrado el hombre y la mujer por tener un cerebro, generosidad divina y con ese gran desarrollo, la globalizacion es una realidad , que ha surgido para complementar las sociedades pobres y las sociedades ricas, en que esta dividida la sociedad mundial, a fin de asociarlas y complementarlas para evitar el caos y la confusion.
