Necessity is the result of invention. I realize the author is self-published. But once again his inquistional foresight surpassess the college or high school level perspectives of most ordinary persons. Only professional investigators or detectives know how difficult it is to think objectively or detect foul play when least expected. More fruits or insights to the author in this sometimes difficult job of trying to solve sophisticated crimes. May be other detectives can borrow from his way of thinking when they get stalled in cases.

I don¡¦t think the author knew much about John Jr. nor did he make a thorough investigation into the death of John Jr. The content of the book is poor and it rather looks like a college essay ¡V begin with a introduction, end with a conclusion, double line spacing and attached with several poor quality, photocopied version of newspapers graphics clippings. It doesn¡¦t even include a single photo of John Jr. But it does have a very detailed specification of the type of plane involved in the crash, which occupied about dozen pages!

In today's world of globalization, the United States generally is considered by foreign investors around the world to be the safest and most profitable location to invest their funds and from where to operate a headquarters or manufacturing site. After more than a decade of prosperity and a strong currency coupled with the traditional political stability, the United States has emerged as a net importer of capital for the first time in post World War II history. Increasing profit margins for multinationals, relatively low interest rates, incredible stock exchange prices and volume, a reduced level of inflation and record consumer spending resulting from sophisticated demands of the baby boomer age, as well as an accelerated rate of immigrant arrivals, all have inspired new private investment from abroad, now surpassing the USD 5 trillion mark in direct and indirect investment. Surveys consistently show that foreign businesspersons, like their American counterparts, seek locations from which to manufacture, assemble, or service their products where the tax or investment incentives are most attractive. This fact is reflected in the operations of the Fortune 500 in the United States where 80% of privately invested assets are located in the five states of New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Illinois, and California, all of which are leaders in providing trade and investment concessions to businesses.

Investment incentives consist of a variety of inducements ranging from tax credits and cash grants and tax exemptions or reductions to accelerated depreciation, loan subsidies and property tax, sales tax and customs duty exclusions or reductions, as well as foreign trade and enterprise zone availability. Unlike the array of incentives offered by foreign countries, the charts reflect that most of the States rely on property tax concessions, loan subsidy financing, development project rewards, low or no sales taxes and foreign trade zone availability. Nothing to read.......2003-07-25

It looks like ISO 14001 requirements + ISO 14001 comments + a few words of own opinion + some procedures from imaginary company (It seems they have never been at work). So If you have visited any ISO 14001 course, you don't need this book.

Cahill's Environmental Auditing Textbook Review.......2007-09-09

Overall, it is a very useful textbook offering a generic approach to environmental audits which can easily be expanded to health, safety and security issues. The author(s) does a very thorough job in discussing the activities and protocols involved with the 3 phases of the auditing process: 1. Pre-audit Phase; 2. On-site Audit Phase; and 3. Post-Audit Phase. The textbook utilizes the input from several different authors which results in some duplication of information, but repetition is good in this much changing field.

Needs to be updated and expanded with respect to a few more current issues: Impact of the Sarbanes-Oxley law, current ISO 14001 issues, plus some others. A more detailed chapter on Root-Cause Analysis would be beneficial with more examples. This type of analysis seems to be the most prevalent in deciding upon Corrective Actions and Recommendations needed to mitigate future deficiencies of a similar nature.

An instructor's manual containing some general or specific discussion questions for each chapter would also be helpful. The references contained within each chapter are useful. Placing current "Insights" - articles or case law relevant to the chapter material would also enable the authors to keep current with fewer new chapters in subsequent editions. More sample examples of Audit Instruments (checklists) and detailed suggestions for Corrective Action follow-up would be useful.
This textbook is currently being used at the Master's level assuming little or no pre-requisite knowledge of the auditing process. It is being taught in on-campus and on-line classes.
