Book Description
When life seems to be full of doubt and uncertainty we tend to look for a source of inspiration: what will happen in the future? What about my health, the children? What will happen if I make this decision and not that one? This is how the traditional tarot is often used, to satisfy a longing to know about the past and future. This Osho Zen Tarot focuses instead on gaining an understanding of the here and now. It is a system based on the wisdom of Zen, a wisdom that says events in the outer world simply reflect in the outer world simply reflect our own thoughts and feelings, even though we ourselves might be unclear about what those thoughts and feelings are. So it helps us to turn our attention away from outside events so we can find a new clarity of understanding in our innermost hearts. The conditions and states of mind portrayed by the contemporary images on the cards are all shown as being essentially transitional and transformative. The text in the accompanying book helps to interpret and understand the images in the simple, straightforward and down to earth language of Zen.

The most Beautiful Tarot Deck I have ever seen!.......2007-08-17
When I first saw this deck, I was immediately drawn to it and captivated by it's beauty. When I got my own Osho Zen Tarot deck, and I first held it, it just felt right, I felt connected to it. I love using this deck and every spread is just perfect. It is a Zen deck, so it tends to focus more on the now. The interpretation and insight into each card is backed by a lot of great wisdom. Sometimes, I'll choose 1 card from the deck as something to meditate on for the day. This deck always leaves me feeling wonderful and connected to everything. It's amazing. I'm sure you won't regret purchasing this deck. In fact, I've tried a couple other decks, that are more widely used, and I feel absolutely nothing from them. There's just something about this deck that just feels very positive and good. It's the only deck I use. =)
An interesting variant.......2007-06-07
This deck is well-packaged and well-made with beautiful images. It is not just another Rider-Waite variant, but has been carefully designed around its theme of the teachings of Zen Buddhism. I thoroughly recommend it as an interesting change of pace from RW decks, especially for those who are interested in practicing mindfulness and developing self-awareness.
Stunningly Beautiful!.......2007-01-30
It just doesn't get any better!! This is an incredibly rich set of images that instruct gently, with beauty -- the way learning is SUPPOSED to be! Even difficult reflections of self are delivered with tenderness which, I believe, is a result of the artist's loving intention. You WON'T be disappointed!
Osho Zen Tarot.......2007-01-19

Cards that speak the truth.......2006-11-23
Great tool to help think about circumstances, opportunities and life situations. The cards are alive.
Book Description
Comprised of collage imagery from the European masters paintings, these Tarot cards pay tribute to artwork of the Middle Ages and early Renaissance celebrating the exploration of tarot and its artistic heritage.

Remarkable Deck!/Visionaryprophetdaniel.......2007-09-25
First off I agree with reviewers: Dr.Mary G,J.Boyer,El.Brujo regarding the deck's beauty and Kat's artwork;however since I am skin-sensitive to actual gold which gives me a second degree burn in the skin. I would have to use latex gloves to handle the cards per se. However after reviewing the deck I was pleased by its artwork and beauty including the gold edges. The book has a good Horseshoe Spread I like which I would like to include in my revised edition of my spreadbook under revision now...And I will give credit to Kat in my books under manuscript now as I have over 90 tarot kits in my research drawers now. This is rated by me as a beginners tarot to start with..Buena Suerte!!!
Very Nice Cards.......2007-08-29
I bought these for the the visual aesthetic and i am 100% pleased. The collages are beautiful and done masterfully. The cards symbolisms are easily seen throughout this deck making it easy for you to understand. If your at all a fan of medieval artwork this set is a winner.
A lovely, lovely tarot deck by an inspired artist.......2007-08-11
Golden Tarot is a favorite tarot deck of many for good reasons. Not only are the production values wonderful, from the gold gilt and box to the card printing quality, but the art is just magnificent. Oh, certainly, there are those who call this "derivative" art -- Kat Black montaged wonderful masterworks to create tarot symbols very in tune with the Waite system of Tarot symbols. But I don't. I know -- from experience -- that montaging is more difficult than original art when you're trying to make it look "original." Kat is a master at this. You'd hardly know -- if you weren't told -- that this is indeed a montage deck. And who cares (if these things bother you)? You can spend hours looking at the images. Since they are also derivative of tarot imagery down through the centuries -- which is important (how valuable is it to have a tarot deck with images that have nothing to do with the archetypal symbolism of the deck?) -- this is an endlessly fascinating and beautiful deck most people will collect, use and treasure. I came across this deck -- along with the other 30 plus decks I've collected -- in the course of 15 years of research into the symbolism, history and legends of the Tarot for my tarot-plotted novel The Last Troubadour. The themes Kat explores come as close to the themes in my book as I found, so this was a delightful "on my desk" deck. I highly recommend it for fun and pleasure.
Almost perfect..........2007-07-05
This deck is a great Medieval art.I would change only one card:"The whell of fortune".This card is not easy to understand because is very different if we compare with the tradicionals decks.
I like this deck.......2007-06-13
Good solid cards. Great collage artwork. I love the gold trim. Not as symbolic as thoth tarot, but has a more worldly feel for more worldly issues. It has a good consistent theme across all the cards.

Great book for little gifts........2007-05-31
This is the greatest book ever written, in a nutshell, you can read this in 15 minutes.. I keep it around as a reminder of the Four Agreements... great gifts!! I order them several at a time. and give them away quite regularly, everyone loves them.
A beautiful little book.......2007-01-03
I absolutely love this little book. This is a summary of the full version but it is a wonderful way of encapsulating all of that in a concise manner. It's a nice one to have close by to read and reread again.
Love the Book, Love the Cards That Go With the Book...........2006-12-17
Loved reading the "Four Agreements" Book. These companion cards are a great addition to the book as they are bite sized reminders of the four agreements discussed in the book & they help you stay focused on keeping the four agreements in mind.
There are 48 cards in this deck--- with 12 cards focusing on each of the four agreements. The art work on each card is phenomenally beautiful and the cards are wonderful just to look at for their beauty. I find that if there is an agreement that I am having a difficult time practicing, then I can easily refer to the 12 cards that deal with agreement to help bring that agreement back into focus.
playfull support of the book Four agreements.......2006-11-03
easy exercises on the four agreements, giving way to many different situations: all of them happening so often in daily life

Book Description
Together in one volume for the first time, these are the classic texts that helped launch the modern Tarot renaissance. Often described as the Bible of Tarot readers, they bring awareness of myth and modern psychology to the Tarot's ancient symbolism.
Customer Reviews:
It's a powerful tarot reference no serious new age library should miss........2007-10-06
Tarot users will find SEVENTY-EIGHT DEGREES OF WISDOM: A BOOK OF TAROT a fine compilation of two previous volumes under one cover, joining THE MAJOR ARCANA and THE MINOR ARCANA in one revised, updated volume with a new introduction by the author. As such it's a powerful tarot reference no serious new age library should miss.
Seventy Eight Degrees of Wisdom.......2007-09-21
These days most anybody can do a tarot reading. There are literally hundreds of different decks all complete with canned readings for each card. In a way, it's rather like reading your daily horoscope as the results are rather generalized to match virtually anyone.
Definitely, not every tarot reader is equal in quality. The best readers go beyond simplistic generalizations. They not only tailor their layouts and reading results to match the individual but also look to the deeper meanings of the cards. These unique abilities are both invaluable skills and amazing talents.
Seventy Eight Degrees of Wisdom is a must have resource for anyone wanting to do real tarot readings. The author has an inherent ability to see depth within the cards that many need to be taught to notice. Within this book, she shares her valuable insights and urges the reader to follow suit. Originally this book was two books separating out the major and minor arcane. This new format brings these important references into one easier to access resource.
Rachel Pollack Fan.......2007-07-31
I have this in Part I - Major Arcana & Part II Minor Arcana
I absolutely love Rachel Pollack's work & this is no exception
in fact it is my all time favorite book of hers.... I find
it's down to earth, to the point at the same time I know exactly
what she means about a card.......
Worth the money if you want help interpreting cards & like me
favor her work.
A Must for all Tarot Book Collections.......2007-07-30
I was once asked: "If you could only own one tarot book, which one would it be?" The clear answer is Seventy-Eight Degrees of Wisdom by Rachel Pollack. I have also found that this classic book works very well for my beginning tarot classes at the local University. Despite the author's indepth treatment of the cards (see other excellent reviews), tarot beginners enjoy the comprehensive, classic and clear insights into the tarot and how to work with it.
I would also like to say that my beginning and intermediate students enjoy Rachel Pollack's spreads also because of their depth of meaning.
So I sincerely recommend this for all tarot book collections and for students of tarot.
A Classic! .......2007-04-14
This is one book that I can't recommend strongly enough, and one that I feel belongs on the shelf of every Tarot enthusiast. Using the popular Rider-Waite deck for illustration, this book contains essays on each card, covering all aspects of the symbology, as well as origins, history, mythology, and sociological, psychological, esoteric and religious implications. It's rare to say that a book on Tarot is a can't put down page-turner, but this one is it! I learned so very much from it, and use it as a reference to this day. Be warned, however, that this isn't a book that you would want to use to look up cards during a reading. Seventy-Eight Degrees of Wisdom is very well written and easy to understand, no matter what your level of expertise. Ms. Pollack has obviously done massive amounts of research and manages to convey a true love for the art of Tarot on each and every page, speaking to the reader as a patient, knowledgeable and wise teacher with years of experience. She also includes tutorials in the back of the book, covering such subjects as layouts, the Tree of Life, making a Mandala, and Meditations. On the whole, this is a wonderful, wonderful book and in my opinion, a classic.
Book Description
By popular demand,
Doreen Virtue has created a beautiful deck of cards based on her best-selling book Archangels & Ascended Masters. The deck includes gorgeous paintings of 44 male and female cross-cultural deities, such as Ganesha, Merlin, Saint-Germain, Apollo, Pallas Athena, White Buffalo Calf Woman, Jesus, Moses, Yogananda, Green Man, and Kuthumi. The enclosed guidebook gives expanded explanations of each card’s meaning, and a brief history of each ascended master. As with each of Doreen’s oracle-card decks, the messages for each card are positive, accurate, and life-affirming.
Customer Reviews:
Not A Bad Card In The Deck!.......2007-09-08
These cards have a wonderful vibration, all very inspiring, uplifting, encouraging. However, they are not without depth; they are more than just "sweetness and light." There is a suggestion that they can be used in combination with other kinds of Tarot (that can carry the darker undercurrents--necessary energies to be aware of in their own right), and I find there is a good balance that way.
Love it - Accurate, Simple and Enjoyable to work with!.......2007-08-22
I bought this deck to learn more about the Ascended Masters and to begin to work with their energies.
I was actually very surprised to see that world deities are considered ascended masters, along with New Age figures such as El Morya, Saint-Germain and others. In fact, the world deities make up most of the deck. My one complaint is that I actually would have liked the inclusion of more of the specifically "New Age" Ascensionist Masters (I realize many deities have become central Ascended Masters in the Ascension movement, such as Kuan Yin and Buddha, and would not have minded them being included), and seen the world deities go into a completely seperate deck. I was a little dissapointed, because I really did want to learn more about them through this oracle.
Other than that, I love this deck! Like her Goddess Oracle, I found the readings to be extremely accurate right from the get-go. I use these cards along with the Goddess Oracle to get an extremely well-balanced reading - in the accompanying book it gives a very simple method for using multiple oracle decks for one reading, which I recommend everyone give a try.
I would love to see an "expansion pack"-type deck for this one made that focuses more specifically on the New Age Ascended Masters, including the more intergalactic figures such as Ashtar. I feel I could really learn alot from such a product, and that was the original intent of purchasing this one. However, as a lover of world spirituality, it was fun to see many familiar faces in this deck, and to be able to to incorporate that wisdom into my readings and meditation.
Love Doreen Virture's Cards.......2007-07-27
I bought this deck to add to my collection of Doreen's cards. I have them all. These are as beautiful as the rest, I especially love the gold edges, however there are too many of the same cards from previous decks. The artwork is different but it's pretty much the same meanings. I was hoping for something new in this deck and it just doesn't have it. Even so, I will continue to buy Doreen's cards because I love the artwork in them and the positive inspirations.
Oracle cards.......2007-07-07
Best of Doreen Virtue's oracle cards! Highly recommend for the devoted mystic. These wonderful cards provide beautiful golden light to your meditation. Beautifully illustrated by talented artists.
oracle cards.......2007-06-08

The cards are beaufiful to look at and the descriptions are very accurate.

ASIN: 1578630487 |
Book Description
Learning the Tarot is a complete course on how to use the tarot cards for personal guidance. The 19 lessons in the course cover the basics and then move gradually into more advanced concepts. Exercises and sample responses for each lesson help you learn and practice. For simplicity, only one easy layout is used throughout the course - the Celtic Cross Spread.
Learning the Tarot focuses in detail on the actual process of discovering meaning in the cards. Lessons cover topics such as how to consider one card by itself, how to look for card pairs, and how to create the "story" of a reading.
A convenient reference section contains two pages of information for each card including a picture from the popular Waite deck, a description, keywords, action phrases and suggestions for cards with similar and opposite meanings.

One of the top books on tarot.......2007-09-08
This book is well written and detailed, yet concise where it needs to be. You can use it as a class with lessons or jump into meanings. The detail on the celtic cross spread is something i've never found and should be read by any reader.
In short -- buy this book.
Excellent.......2007-08-06
Everything that was shipped appeared to be in brand new condition and e-mails were sent letting me know exactly what was going on with my order. I highly recommend this seller to anyone and will definately feel safe ordering from them in the future. Very positive experience!

Crystal Clear & Practical for the Beginners.......2007-07-14
Before reading this book, I did not know anything what and how does Tarot work process. I did have only motivation to learn. The moment I learned this chapter by chapter, I have been wanting to practice it. When I started to know and practice it for myself, the results were remarkable! Everyday I practice all the exercises from the book. I am really passionate. I do hope that by the end of this book, I will ready to learn further, more advanced steps, reaching my dream to become a Tarot Master in Indonesia.
Love this book........2007-07-06
Great how to guide. It is a very indept and comprehensive guide to a tool that could perhaps otherwise be more complex then needed. My first interaction with studying tarot about two years ago turned into a mess. But just the first few days of reading this book, I've gotten a whole new understanding of the cards and how they are used then I have ever had before. I would recommend this book to any confused begginer, like me, or to anyone who just wants a better understanding of how to use this system of divination.

sacred circle tarot.......2007-06-13
i love it, it has a great feel to it. the pictures are beautifuly done. the people who published these sets thought of everything for anyone who is a beginer.. ( i am not) but this is a great first set to have if you were to just be starting out..
A Tarot Rooted In Tradition.......2007-02-06
I have had my Sacred Circle set since this past mid-October, and am still wondering if I know it well enough to review it! It is a complex deck, and a beautiful one. The cohesive details that enrich each card, the border symbols, the associated herbs, etc. are enchanting and add to the magic of each card. As a Celtic Pagan of Celtic ancestry, I can't help but feel touched by ancestral bonds each time I am using this deck, reminded of a past that lives still in both people and places. So why then, am I still feeling a touch uncomfortable with a deck that seems "right down my alley" as the old saying goes? Perhaps I am so conditioned by having learned Tarot on the RWS deck, with it's Christian influences, that I can't quite totally embrace SC yet. Perhaps it is not that at all, but the difference in a deck that is not all drawn art. I do know I wish the pip cards were either not abstract or had no "key words" on them. Beginners like this sort of thing, but eventually one finds it limiting. One reviewer said he "enhanced" the deck by going over all those reminders with a black marker... I still haven't ruled that out! Also, the cards are large, and not comfortable for use in my hands, but that is a minor quibble and in fact, I'd rather be able to see the details so well. I totally agree with another reviewer here who wrote of the wonderul earth connection this deck inspires. Overall, I have to say I love more of it than I dislike, and would not hesitate to recommend it, but for those I feel it would be right for.
GREAT.......2006-01-13
A fascinating journey, rich of magickal details and deep messages.
The deck works a terrific connection to your inner self.
One of the best decks I own.

Pretty, but not very Celtic.......2005-12-07
I was sucked into buying this deck due to the images. As I looked at it, I found it to be less Celtic than Wiccan. The "Lord" and "Lady" cards are just one example of their misinterpretations of Celtic lore. Courtney Davis' Celtic Tarot is far more accurate, allowing for the fact that tarot's an import into the system in the first place.
great deck, bad book.......2005-03-30
I first saw this deck online at a tarot review website, and fell in love with the design and graphics. I was thrilled when I got it, and the graphics were everything I'd hoped for. It's beautiful, the mix of photography, digital art and colouring is well blended and I really love the historic landmarks they used.
However.
The book, quite frankly, sucks. While I appreciated the explanations of the revised Major Arcana, it's interpretations leave a great deal to be desired. Instead of the traditional idea that a card reversed is opposite in it's original meaning, here reversed is almost universally negative. Trust me, you do *not* want to get the 9 of swords reversed with this book! Instead of a normal 50/50 chance of a negative result, it's increased to something like a 75 % chance of a negative result. Ick. I dislike the stacking of the odds.
I still love the deck, but the book's been gathering dust for years.

Customer Reviews:
love these cards.......2007-09-30
I highly recommend these cards as they are accurate, really beautiful and I felt a peaceful beautiful energy while using them. DV gives thorough instructions on how to use the deck and make the most of your readings. I saw the wonderful reviews on Amazon, knowing nothing about mermaids and dolphins, but decided to buy the deck, as it was one of her most popular. I attuned to Dolphin Reiki to enhance the use of these wonderful cards and recommend anyone interested in buying her deck, do the same.
Nice Deck!.......2007-07-16
As someone stated before, I too am a card fanatic. My excuse is that I need a wide variety of cards for my readings which is true, but I probably have over done it since I own close to 25 different sets. Anyway I recently bought this set after reading reviews and giving it some thought. I didn't want to buy this set at first because I didn't really know anything about mermaids and honestly, I thought they looked child-like, however I am a big Doreen Virtue fan and decided I'd go for it. After spending a little time with the cards, I found them to be quite accurate. To me, some of the card meanings are general and redundant, but I still find them to be helpful and accurate! It's a nice set!
Nice deck.......2007-06-28
to add to your collection, but I would recommend the Goddess Oracle cards by Doreen Virtue before this deck -- and I own both...
If You Love Mermaids You'll Love This Deck.......2007-06-27
Ok I admit it, I'm a oracle card junkie. I have probably about 10 different sets or types of oracle/tarot cards if not more. 3 of them are from the Doreen Virtue Collection. This set, the Magical Unicorn set and Healing with Fairies deck. Admittedly there is little variation with regards to card meanings but it doesn't stop me from appreciating any of them any less. The fact is that some people may be attracted to Angel Cards, others may feel an affinity for Mermaids and yet others a love for Unicorns. So while you may not want to buy Doreen's whole collection of card decks she offers enough of a variety that one will surely find something that meets your interest. Then perhaps move on to different line to mix things up a bit.
I am happy to stand corrected but..........2006-05-28
...I am a great Doreen Virtue fan on the whole, but I simply can't help thinking that she is simply regurgitating all the information and thoughts and insights we have heard before, in this pack. For me it is a case of re-packaging what has already been said a million times. The pictures are sweet enough, and very colourful, but I would stick to some of her other cards like the Archangel cards...I feel Doreen has simply thought
" Hmmm what mystical icon can I put on this new set to re-sell as something new ". I am cynical, but can't help thinking she is laughing all the way up her beautifully tailored sleeve as she checks her bank account.
Book Description
The magnificent Crowley Thoth Tarot Deck contains the kabbalistic and astrological attributions described in Aleister Crowley's The Book Of Throth.
Customer Reviews:
genuinine love the deck!.......2007-10-03
avoid the so-called green tints! When I first opened it, I just can't stop thinking that the deck will really enhance the esoteric feel and environment while meditating upon the cards!
Dissatisfied with color quality.......2007-08-08
After reading the book The Tarot Handbook by Angeles Arrien, in which she gives detailed descriptions of the very beautiful artwork on the Thoth deck designed by Aleister Crowley and painted by Lady Francis Harris, I purchased this deck expecting the cards to be as described in the book. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed upon receiving this deck. Most cards were only one color, looking bland. Artwork details were unrecognizable due to the lack of color variation. I returned the deck but am still interested in purchashing the colorful cards described in the book if found.
Uncle Al's legacy.......2007-04-25
Crowley broke ties with his former compatriots at the Golden Dawn and set out to turn the world on its collective ear. Along the way he created this breathtaking deck, with the gracious assistance of Lady Frieda Harris. This is an occult masterpiece of mythic proportions. It is his greatest work, and one of his few not riddled with lies and deceptions. It has been the tool of many a gifted reader and scores of magicians, prognosticators, charlatans, and even a few nefarious scoundrels of magic. It is alpha and omega - for it is both an extension of, and the counterpart to Waite's tarot.
The feel is dark elegance, with heavy usage of blues and gold/yellows, with grays and greens finding their way into the backgrounds. It is not that there is ANY lack of other colors contained herein. The notation is a hint at Crowley's disposition affecting the implied symbolism of such usage in that it guided the direction of creation of this deck. this deck reeks energy, even before you pick it up - but it has a life of its own and you must fit the deck, or it will not 'behave.' Until you experience the bond (or aggravated agitation) possible with this deck, you simply have to guess at how dominant a force this can (and will) be in your readings and ritual use.
This deck was specifically designed for ritual more than simple divination. Each card is a magical statement of human will over nature's wild (untamed) energies. In this way it clashed head on with Waite's vision of the magician in harmony. Just as there are many paths to your destination (whatever that may be) this deck is one of many. It either fits you, or it does not. But s to divinatory quality, none EXISTING [as of this writing] surpass this most excellent tool. I would not suggest this to anyone as a starter deck, as there is far too much occult (hidden) symbolism to learn of The Tarot that the novice cannot grasp from viewing these cards.
Note: This card draws far more heavily on astrological influences than others (Waite for instance) but it is not at all an astrological construct. A great ritual tool that is also a quality divination device if you have a solid foundation of knowledge in the Tarot AND Astrology (and other sciences here unmentioned, should you be so inclined). This is the best deck on the mass market for use with necromancy.
Creepy, Bad Energy.......2007-01-30
I've tried this deck on multiple occasions and find it creepy with bad energy. I think Crowley was a genius but he clearly abused whatever knowledge he was given and that negativity pervades these cards in an uncomfortable way. I'm not saying they're not accurate and this isn't a visually rich, masterful body of work on Crowley's part. But there are other decks out there that bring together the same elements without the strong negativity present here. (Try Haindl instead -- earthy & grounded but just as symbolically rich.)
Must have.......2007-01-10
What to say about this deck. Simply the best, and most complicated. But it does not mean that it is not for beginer. If you begin with this one you probably wont need another for rest of your life.

Customer Reviews:
Great Yoga Deck.......2007-10-18
I am currently in a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program and Olivier Miller's Yoga Deck and Yoga Deck II are fantastic resources for both students and teachers. With the deck you can very quickly pick out a yoga routine to meet the needs of your students or for yourself and vary the routine from day to day very easily to meet changing needs. Each asana is clearly explained and illustrated and the benefits derived from each posture is explained. There are even cards for pranyama (breathing exercises) and meditation. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these products. By the way, you really don't need both decks if you are just beginning yoga. But I recommend both decks for those who are beginning teachers are more yoga practioners who may want to expand their practice.

Yoga Deck - awesome in so many ways..........2006-12-29
The Yoga Deck is really great for a number of reasons...
- Unlike a clunky book, the cards are easy to handle and refer to during yoga practice.
- Unlike a yoga video/DVD, the cards allow one to go at one's own pace.
- It's easy to create a yoga routine tailored to one's particular needs at the moment.
- If one only has a few minutes to devote to yoga, it's easy to simply pull one card, or maybe two, and really focus on those specific poses.
- The Yoga Deck is compact and easy to transport, and since yoga requires no more than a little space it's excellent for travel.
I own both the original Yoga Deck and Yoga Deck II and absolutely love them!
