When planning a circumnavigation one has three choices: 1) Do not plan and accept the extreme dangers of circumnavigation; 2) take a year or more and plan using all available nautical publications, charts, electronic navigation systems; and 3) read and use the outstanding information provided in "World Cruising Routes." This publication will save you time and more important provide excellent tips for short and long passages across the oceans of the world. Cornell has taken the time to consolidate information and plot the important way-points for us.
The most important advice given is the timing of transits. Cornell identifies the risks and the pleasures of circumnavition and avoiding weather disasters. Thanks to Mr. Cornell, sailors who venture forth on the oceans will be safer and more comfortable at sea.

I would someday like to cruise around the world, and I bought this book in the hopes of learning more about the possible routes so that I could make some preliminary plans. I'm sure it will come in handy in a few years, but for now, it's overwhelming.
I think this information would be best presented as an interactive CD-ROM. Click on a starting point, click on several destinations, and the software tells you when you should start the trip, how long it would take, whether you need to alter the route, etc. If someone knows of such a program, please pass along the info.

I think this book is the best out of all the super mysteries. Spooky things are happening to the baby-sitters--they're being followed. It really gave me the creeps, and I like how the ending turns out. (You'll like it even more if you've read the other BSC books) Buy this one--it's definitely worth reading.

I am not as excited about this book as I was others. This one was okay, it just didn't have that special I-am-a-writer-you-can't-copy-my-style touch if you know what I mean. Beware of Margo.......2005-01-05
Margo's plan is beginning to take place when a little baby named Daisy is with Winston.I loved it when Elizabeth and Todd came back together.Margo wanted a shot at Daisy,but never got her.Josh goes as Sherlock Holmes to unmask Margo but Doesn't.I think he gets Jailed.All those close calls the the twins got to losing their lives.
One of the Best Books in the Whole Miniseries.......2004-11-12
I had mixed feelings on some parts of this miniseries(like Jessica throwing herself at Todd- I wanted to smack Todd for being so dumb!) but I like this one. I like how Winston is stuck with a baby, and all the girls help him take care of her. This book is like the climax of the miniseries. I also like how Margo has the final parts of her plan in place- creepy(That girl has issues!) My favorie book in this was "A Night to Remember. After that, I like this book, and my third favorite in the miniseries is "The Morning after." But I highly reccommend this book, plus the other six. (A Night to Remember, #95-100.)

This is a very good book! Liz gets mad at Jessica when she finds the letter Todd wrote her and liz and todd FINALLY get back together! Winston has to babysit a baby when his parents are out of town but doesnt really know how to so all the girls help him. It's hilarious when he takes her to school and all day everyone takes turns watching her. Anyways this was a really great book!!
Disturbing...........2000-02-08
SVH definitely took a new turn when Francine introduced Margo Black as a character. It made this 'series' a lot darker. I found Margo incredibly disturbing with the way, she would dispose of the children/people with such ease. I also found the 'voices' that she heard to be pretty creepy as well. I assume that she was supposed to be a schizophrenic. I think Francine did well with this new character but, at the same time, I don't think she should have turned SVH into something serious. I've always found the series lighthearted and amusing, sometimes thrilling. Yet, this 'series' of Margo stories were creepy and disturbing. I mean, this character was pretty violent, yet at the same time she looked like Liz and Jess. I found that, that just made it kinda dumb. I think that she should have wanted to take over their lives without looking like them. It would have made it a lot creepier..

I thought this was an exhilerating and exiting read. definitely one of Kate Williams best books to date. i would recommend it highly and you are warned once you start reading it you won't be able to put it down

I Like This!. When Dawn starts getting threatening notes and odd phone calls while she is baby-sitting, she doesn't know what to do. The notes are signed "Mr. X.," and they are beginning to get scary. Normally, she would tell the other Baby Sitters, but this time is different. The kids at Stoneybrook Elementary are having a Sitter of the Month Contest. The siiter for the month has to be someone who is in control, someone whose jobs always go smoothly. Dawn wants to win, But how can she win while Mr. X is sending notes?
A Great Book To Read At Night!.......1999-08-20
Beware, Dawn is one of the best mysteries I have ever read! It's about a girl named Dawn, who starts to get weird phone calls and creepy letters during a contest for the Best Baby-Sitter, so she doesn't want to tell anyone one about it. Soon, she figures out that every other Baby-Sitter is getting the same creepy calls & letters, except for Kristy, but the ending is still a great surprise. You really should read this book at night because it sends chills down your spine and makes you afraid that someone might be at your door!
