Book Description
Baby Tips for Dads - Baby's First Year. New dads are often as mystified by their wives after they become mothers as they are by their babies! This book will help any dad adjust to his new role so he can enjoy the experience and be a hero! It humorously expresses a lot of the things new parents think about each other, but won't admit. Mothers will want their husbands to read this book-and it makes a great gift for new dads.

Prefer the GoodFather.......2004-12-27
My brother received this a baby shower gift and it wasn't too bad overall. It had some funny stuff and is better than most
Related Note: His best gift was definitely "The GoodFather" which is a CD-ROM which teaches new dads baby skills through a parody of the GodFather series. It came in a cool box, had an impressive collection of baby lessons, and was hilarious.
I'd give the Baby Tips book a thumbs up, but my money will go to The GoodFather by Dr.MOZ www.drmoz.com any day. That's my 2 cents.
Funny, light.......2004-07-03
This book was so funny, I had many great laughs while reading it, and I've given some as gifts. With a newborn, humor is greatly appreciated. I don't think it's meant to be a serious parenting guide but it is just a really funny book.
For New Dads or Neanderthals??.......2001-06-28
I bought this book for my husband since he and I are adding to our family. It sounded cute and easy to read and as a new Dad I thought it would be a way to include him in the wait for our child. The only thing good about this book is that it is easy to read and can finished in less than 30 minutes. If I had given it to him to read he would have rightfully felt insulted at the authors attempts to be funny as she lambbasted fathers. As an example, page 92's wisdom is 'Never say: "Hey, you delivered the baby early! Can I go to the football game Sunday?"' At least the book offends equally since it makes it clear mothers should be lied to, humored, and handled. Parents can laugh with each other, instead of at each other. Parenting is funny and heartbreaking, but instead of being at war with my husband I would rather be in the trenches with him.

Todlers Baby Tips for new moms and dads.......2000-09-23
I found this book to be helpful in just about evey page I turned. The book has everyday helpful pointers that revolve around you and your toddler. Toddlers covers the often-erratic years of your life with your todler, who will likely fluctuate between being an adorable, curious, energetic child and rambunctious terror. The book is easy to use and easy to find answers.

Great Little Book.......2005-12-28
Just recently becoming a parent (to twins), I saw the little book and skimmed through it and thought it would be a good read and I was right. Just as the title reads, it is just TIPS, and should not be looked at as a reference manual. It had some really good tips that as a first time parent, I appreciate. There is just so much information out there that it was nice to read a book that has a clear, simple and light-hearted tone and very helpful at the same time. Pick up the book if you have a chance, even at your local library. It's entertaining and lets face it, if you are anywhere near as busy as I am with my children, this size book is all you will really have time to read anyway.
Also, I noticed that they have a new little book for each stage of your child's development, so I will be picking those up as well.
A Gift For Every New Mom.......2000-11-28
I bought this book when my twins were born and loved it. I bought all the subsequent volumes, too. I now give as gifts to new moms. It may not be an "in-depth" book... there is only one sentence per page, but who has time to read a 200-page book with a newborn anyway? This is simple, quick tips that you can put to use immediately.
Baby Tips for New Moms.......2000-10-03
I loved it-- I never would have thought of half the ideas and it's very funny.
Not a practical reference.......1999-09-13
It's a cutesy little book, with some good suggestions for things, but not a reference manual as such. Each page contains a one sentence suggestion. Fun for lap reading, but not what you should purchase if you're looking for some solid detailed ideas on what to do in given situations.
Love it, Love it, Love it!!!!!!.......1999-02-16
This little book of tips is fulll of tips that just plain make sense. I was a nanny for many years before I was a Mommy and I really wish that I had had this book as a resource for those years. It is full of "Duh, why didn't I think of that" type tips. I really love this little book and plan to give it to all my new Mommy friends!
Book Description
This book is the history of a single Panzeruhrer and the men who served under him. Johannes Muhlenkamp rose to the rank of SS-Standartenfuhrer (Oberst) and held the Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves and other high honors that reflected not only his achievements but also those of his men.
To the soldiers under his command he was a figurehead who was often to be found standing over his tank, his face covered in dust, leading them into battle. He always led from the front.
Profusely illustrated with hundreds of previously unseen photographs, documents and maps and assembled with the assistance of veterans and Muhlenkamp's family, this book is an exceptional document in words and images of the life of a single panzer regiment of the famous Wiking division.
If ever you needed a reason to learn German . . .
Customer Reviews:
A Tribute To My Father.......2005-08-30
Paul Oosterling wrote this outstanding book about Johannes Muhlenkampf with the help of a couple of old veterans of this period. One of them was my father whose outstanding photographic memory helped the writer in stories and adventures of this famous Wiking division. Sadly my father didn't live to see this book coming out, he died march 15th 2003. Paul Oosterling gave to me, as a tribute to my father, one of the 1st original very luxury pressings and I could read all the stories my father and many other veterans have told and are now forever for everybody accesible. This book gives you a very good impression what this division has lived through the years they fought in Russia, Poland and Hungary. Outstanding performance of a elite soldiers division kept forever in this book.
Book Description
In this disturbing and timely book, Joe Klein exposes the globalists' true agenda stripping the U.S. of its independence in order to make the world's only superpower subservient to the desires and whims of dictators, tyrants, and nameless bureaucrats. Only when that is accomplished can the UN meet its ultimate, though secret, goal to become the world's governing body.
While other books often portay the UN as a haven for crooks and bunglers, Kofi Annan and the globalists in control of the UN have ventured further down the road than most Americans know. Far from a being a "John Birch Society" alarmist screed, Klein's book names names and describes in chilling detail the people and policies behind the UN's unabashed power grab, and calls for the restoration of Harry Truman's original vision for the United Nations.
Customer Reviews:
BEST BOOK EVER.......2006-11-30
I was glued to each page. The American people must read this book so they can understand the grave threat that the UN and Russia poses to the USA. You think it can't happen? Think again...
The media is not telling you the whole story....
What a web they weave!.......2006-05-23
In this disturbing book, the author reveals the devious agendas of the United Nations and its allies that include a host of non-governmental organizations, eccentric billionaires, academics, special interest groups and political elites in certain member states. This bizarre coalition also contains environmentalists, self-styled human rights activists, anti-capitalists, celebrities, peaceniks and various types of what can only be described as New Agers.
Klein describes them as an international network of influence peddlers acting on behalf of leftist causes. They intend to turn the UN into a world governing body with powers to enforce a hazy and shady agenda. Not all NGO's should be tarred with the same brush, but amongst the most notorious of those that do form part of this sinister coalition are Amnesty International, Greenpeace and many pro-abortion organizations. These so-called transnational progressives want to undermine national sovereignty by establishing international institutions filled with fanatical parasites like themselves.
Their agendas encompass global economic redistribution, the sole right to initiate military action, universal gun control, global taxes, labor legislation, housing, an international criminal court and much, much more. These groups were behind the ridiculous Kyoto farce and the even more risible Earth Charter.
The author also examines the UN itself and comes to the conclusion that it is a bloated, corrupt bureaucracy that is highly resistant to reform or accountability. After the Oil For Food scam - the biggest fraud in history - and the UN's failure to prevent tragedies like the Rwandan genocide and the one still unfolding in Darfur, it does not have a shred of moral legitimacy left. It goes even beyond unaccountability, since neglect of duty is often rewarded with promotion as in the case of Kofi Annan who had the power but failed to prevent the mass murder in Rwanda. Quite rightly, the author labels the UN a playground for international terrorists.
The major goal is to undermine the sovereignty of the United States by enmeshing it in a mire of international protocols and treaties, following which federal judges are to insert certain vaguely defined international norms into the country's legal system in order to supplant the constitution. Klein does not recommend a US pullout from the UN, as he believes that the organization can still be reformed, although admittedly this will not be an easy task. Some of the revelations in this book are quite astonishing but they are all meticulously documented in the extensive and verifiable source notes that provide plenty of material for further study.
For further shocking revelations about this evil organization and the self-appointed, unelected global elites that infest and manipulate it, I also recommend Tower Of Babble by Dore Gold, The UN Gang by Pedro Sanjuan, The UN Exposed by Eric Shawn and Inside The Asylum by Jed Babbin.
Right Wing Rubbish.......2006-03-28
I read the whole book and found it somewhat beyond pathetic. It must be quite rare to not find a single part that made any sense or that one could agree with. This is shear right wing nationalistic rubbish on a massive scale and the sort of nasty rhetoric that makes the US so disliked in the rest of the world, including most western nations. This gentleman should definitely move to Idaho and set up a commune of some sort. A sad but true reflection of what America is becoming at the moment as it goes through another of it's strange phases.
Utter garbage.......2006-03-07
This book is utter nonsense. An "Internet tax"? Uh huh. And MSN Hotmail is about to shut down, too. Just forward this e-mail to 10 people and you can prevent losing your e-mail account.
It's about time that the United States started obeying international law, rather than coming up with random books that pretend this is a "subversion" of its freedoms
Global Deception: A Must Read For all Concerned US Citizens.......2006-02-14
In this book, Joseph Klein describes how Non Government Organizations (NGOs), not elected and not representing any state or country, have gained power in the UN with the backing of the United Nation's secretary-general, Kofi Annan, the inefficient, corrupt UN bureaucracy, and leaders of many member states who resent the United States and seek to limit its power in the UN.
Through globalist schemes, these NGOs and their supporters seek to push the UN even further away from its original charter. Mr Klein clearly informs us of the dangerous assault on our constitution by NGO schemes which try to give power on a global scale. The author points out that when the globalists talk about "reform", they mean redistribution, so that power and money can be transferred from the United States to the United Nations.
This author points out that "UN regulations prevent linking program effectiveness and impact with performance." Therefore, millions are squandered since program managers are not held accountable.
Mr Klein tells the importance of the US using its Security Council veto power and financial clout to rein in the excesses of the UN and keep the focus on the original intentions of the UN's founders.
The author points out the danger of judges who incorporate "international norms" into their interpretations in contradiction to Constitutional evidence.
This book arouses our interest and holds our attention as the author describes the dangers NGOs pose to the protection of our freedom as American citizens under our Constitution. One example of this is the International Criminal Court.

INFO..........2007-02-04
Climatic change has a profound effect on the distribution of animals and plants. for instance, between 1850 and 1950, a period of climatic amelioration, Britain gained several new species from southern and eastern Europe, including Collared Dove, Celti's Warbler, Savi's Warbler, Firecrest and Golden Oriole. The situation has been further complicated by the "greenhouse effect", with northern and southern species "invading" Britain. This study traces and explains the changes in bird distribution in the Northern Hemisphere, with special reference to Britain and Europe, relating them not only to climatic change, but also to other environmental factors.
