A small, poverty-stricken California Indian Tribe, the Cabazon Band of Mission Indians, successfully fought a long legal battle for the right to operate the business of their choice on their barren reservation--a gambling casino. Their defeated opponents included California's City of Indio and County of Riverside (called "one of the most racist in the U.S." by a non-Indian resident) as well as California and 29 other states that joined California's appeal. This is also the fascinating story of the role played by a white family and its radical, socialist patriarch that helped create one of the world's most capital-intensive industries and triggered today's Indian Gaming Explosion throughout America. Hundreds of hours of taped interviews and years of documents, meeting records, and official correspondence are analyzed to give the reader a clear picture of the impact of this new massive capital on tribal life and the development of a possible future without gambling--as officials in league with Nevada and Atlantic City gambling interests continue their efforts to destroy Indian gaming. The Buffalo, literal and symbolic figure of earlier Indian financial independence, has returned in a new form--"cash cow" casinos.

Medal Of Honor: FRONTLINE is one of the best PS2 games I have ever played. I love the way how you get to see suicidal Nazis jump off the bridge because they are scared of you and kicking their bums. My favourite missions are The Golden Lion, Operation Repunzel and Nijmegen Bridge. Also Under The Radar. It's also great to see the Easter eggs- wanted posters of Jimmy Patterson and Nazi-decorated UFO's fly up in the sky.
FRONTLINE is definately the best MOH game.

The guide doesnt help that much. It just shows maps and tells you stratigies. If you are good at beating video games like MOH Rising sun it probably wont help.

I would've given the guide five stars if the walkthrough was better. Not much, but it doesn't fully explain everything in 100% detail on what to do. Plus, you shouldn't need a guide for Medal of Honor Frontline. At first I only got this guide for secrets, but then I noticed that secrets are found everywhere! This guide doesn't even cover them!
Basically, its a good guide for he up and go type of people but for those who'd rather just explore the game on your own. Everything in this guide is actually explained in full detail in the game and thats the main reason I didn't give it five stars. The guide explains the game, but the game is simple enough to the point where you don't need this book. don't waste your money on this, the game is a good enough guide for you.

Walker did the Ages of Empires 2 guide which is also great. If you have this game it is a must have and you should also get the soundtrack for Medal of Honor

Fantastic.......2000-03-28
Sadly there are but few scholarly resources available pertaining to this particular period of history. At least, there are so few which do not lean heavily towards Christian apologetics for the Inquisition and other such atrocities. But this volumous work provides, data, documentation, analysis, and readability so often absent in historical scholarship. I found this not only an even-handed view of this period (devoid of the usual religious sympathies), but also excellent in acting as both a resource and as entertainment. Particularly, I found the author's emphasis on social events and effects most interesting. He demonstrated, effectively, how military conflicts can profoundly affect those living both within and on the fringes of affected areas, and specifically how these peoples' lives are transformed by these events. I highly recommend this work for anyone interested in Spanish or Islamic history.
