A MUST HAVE COOKBOOK.......2005-10-18
Every cook, young and old, must have this cookbook readily available in their kitchen. It is a perfect reference to all fo the basic and best recipes!
A great cookbook for food from Lancaster.......2001-03-08
As a native of Lancaster all of my life, a shopper of Central Market, and a person who loves to cook, I highly recommend this cookbook. It has some great facts about the start of Central Market and TONS of wonderful recipes for local food. Scrapple, REAL pot pie, dips, caseroles, pasta dishes, cakes, and pies are all in this book. My copy is very dog eared, because there are so many great things to make! Buy this book if you like to cook great food!

For all of you coin collecters out there, here is aninexpensive coin folder that holds a good amount of coins. This is agood item for beginners or people that have been collecting for a while. These folders are very durable and attractive. I've bought a few of them and I am completely satisfied. END

Just adding it to the collection.......2006-03-02
I love Dover's CD ROM & Book series. In fact, I would classify myself as a junkie. I have every Egyptian-related release that Dover has ever published, and while the illustrations in the book are very striking and crisp, if you look at the TIF's on the enclosed CD ROM, they are extremely amateurish and sloppy. If you are thinking about using them for any sort of web or book project, then without a doubt you will be spending a great deal of time doing cleanup and colour re-adjustment in Photoshop, Paintshop Pro or another graphics editor. The colours of items, glyphs and fleshtones are not at all consistent to Ancient Egyptian artistic canon and grammar. Also, there is an almost excessive use of the colour orange within the geometric patterns as well. One gets the feeling you have seen the same pattern over and over again with very few variations on a theme.

The Egyptian treatment of everything great and small was so strongly decorative that it is hard to exclude an overwhelming variety of considerations. But here it is proposed to limit our view to the historical development of the various motives or elements of deco ration. Good book-full of information.......2007-07-09
I had already seen this book in person at the book store and had looked through it to find a book that contained a little bit about everything when it came to remodeling a kitchen. If you're looking for a book that hits on everything but doesn't go into too much detail about each project, you'll like this book. It has lots of colorful pictures and ideas on how to do things along with 'how-tos' on cermaic tile to hardwood flooring to picking out lights.

Not what I expected, but great book!.......2007-03-30
I have been searching for a soup to nuts book on remodeling a kitchen. This book was more concentrated on the design aspects but provided valuable information such as seating space requirements (i.e.: how much room you need behind and to the sides) as well as design techniques to fit many different styles.
I have other books from Creative Homeowner that go much further into detail (Drywalling for example) but I was really hoping this book would give me more info on subfloors since I am planning to redo mine as part of the remodel.
All in all this is a fantastic book with many aspects of a kitchen remodel you would not normally think of (at least I didn't). The book is well thought out, well organized and a quick read.
I would recommend it if you are planning on remodeling a kitchen yourself, or even if you are contracting out the work.
