Book Description
John Lescroart offers an engrossing historical mystery that takes us to a small French town in the dark days of World War I-where the rumor is that Auguste Lupa is the son of the greatest detective of all time. And his mysterious legacy may come to light as he attempts to solve the baffling murder of an intelligence agent...
Customer Reviews:
Disappointing for Lescroart or Holmes Fans.......2007-09-19
I have to agree with the reader who found this novel trite and dull. I got very very tired of hearing about nothing but beer in every other sentence. I did slog on to the bitter end, but expected so much more of Lescroart, as other novels I have read were engrossing and fairly literate. I picked this book up because my husband is a die-hard Holmes fan. I told him not to bother. Reading this would just make him angry.
Don't think Conan Doyle, think Rex Stout.......2007-04-03
Other reviewers have not fully enjoyed this book because they are looking for satisfaction as a post Holmes story. It is more an early Nero Wolfe story - "Auguste Lupa" is the backstory referred to by Nero Wolfe in several of the Rex Stout novels. Here he is young and fit, not yet corpulent but displaying his trademark love of food, beer and horticulture. The cook, Fritz Benet is obviously the WWI identity of Fritz Brenner, Nero Wolfe's chef and housekeeper.
There are many treats here for Rex Stout fans - Auguste Lupa's designing a remote signaling device to have beer fetched to him, his mistrust of women, using an intelligent legman to gather facts for him to decipher and of course gathering all the players for the unmasking of the criminal.
As a standalone mystery it would be only a couple of stars, but as biographical fodder for Nero Wolfe, it is "very satisfactory".
boring waste of time.......2006-09-02
Really. Don't bother. I'm half through, there's been one murder, and I still can't stop wondering when something is going to happen -- other than everyone walking around town, drinking beer. This guy gets paid for writing????
Where Did This Come From?.......2006-02-09
Having read many of the author's Dismas Hardy novels, I was intrigued to find this little novel. Set in W.W.I. France, this book revolves around a murder and wartime espionage. The case is investigated by the reputed son of Sherlock Holmes. The ending is classic English-style, "let's go in a room and reveal the killer." A welcome departure full of a sense of place.
Barnes and Noble.......2005-05-02
i bought this book at Barnes and Noble for $3.95 along with 'Rasputin's Revenge' for the same price. it's on the clearance rack. pick it up for a great read.

Product Description
Legendary guitarists such as Jimi Hendrix, B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Mike Bloomfield, Hubert Sumlin, T-Bone Walker, Johnnie Winter, Albert King, Freddie King, and Chuck Berry are known to all blues fans for their remarkable soloing abilities.
But the complete blues guitarist must do more than shine in the solo spotlight. And that is why every great soloist is also a great fill-in player.
Tasteful fill-in licks support and inspire the singer while adding fire and drive to the performance. For example, Blind Lemon Jeffersons string-snapping fill-ins provided the perfect complement for his rough-hewn blues songs. Both Louis Armstrong and Lester Young seemed to talk to the singer with their finely-crafted, jazzy fill-ins. And Henry Sunflower Vestines stinging, buzzsaw fill-ins never failed to drive his Canned Heat bandmates into a psychedelic frenzy.
This book is accompanied by a user-friendly split-track CD allows you to sit in with a professional blues band while you learn to play blues fills behind a great singer, Charles Adkins. The Heat-Seeking Missile Blues Band is heard on the left channel; the fill-in licks are isolated on the right channel.
This is not just another book of abstract how do I use these licks in real life? licks, but a collection of solid musical ideas that can be applied to thousands of real songs. Another fine contribution from Red Dog Music Books, designed for the early intermediate-to intermediate guitarist. Some of the licks are accessible to highly motivated near-beginners, and the book is an excellent resource for teachers.
Product Description
This superb Red Dog Music Book and CD allows you to learn/play slide guitar fill-ins while sitting in with a crisply recorded blues band and singer. The licks are clearly written in standard notation and tablature, and the companion CD contains all 101 licks, which are applicable to countless blues songs. A guide to symbols and several helpful fretboard diagrams are included. The licks are recorded on electric guitar but can also be played on acoustic. Overall, a very fine book that will provide unlimited learning and enjoyment. Many slide guitar books are confusing because they try to cover too many tunings. Everything here is in open E. Songs include standards such as Joe Turner Blues, St. Louis Blues, Sportin Life Blues, House of the Rising Sun, Midnight Special, along with several new songs written to standard blues changes. Like Hound Dog Taylor, J.B. Hutton, and Elmore James? Then you will like this book.
Product Description
Blues guitar teachers, serious students, and blues band guitarists will all enjoy his large collection of 100% pure blues and boogie solos for guitar. Twenty-five exciting solos are presented here, each played over its own rhythm progression.
Every solo is transcribed in both standard notation and tablature, and played note for-note with a full band on the professionally recorded companion CD.
This book is for the intermediate, or better, guitarist whose interests include authentic, non-commercial blues musicthe good stuff that is seldom heard via mass-market channels such as radio and television.
Guitar teachers might use the book to introduce new hand positions, fingerings, chords, and theoretical concepts.
Each solo is made up of many interesting phrases (licks) that can be adapted and incorporated into your own style.
The solos are relatively challenging, and can be used in blues jams and on stage.
Another SUPER COOL and USEFUL music book by Larry McCabe.

Excellent Essays in Trinitarian Theology.......2004-07-30
This posthumously published collection of essays by Colin Gunton continues and extends the trajectory he began in THE PROMISE OF TRINTARIAN THEOLOGY. These well-crafted essays explore numerous themes in Christian theology from a distinctly trinitarian perspective, showing how all truly Christian theology must be trinitarian in sturcture and scope.
The first segment of the book focuses on the theology of the Trinity itself. Gunton tackles issues of the Eastern and Western doctrine(s) of the Trinity, the incarnation, the Holy Spirit and the relation of the economic and immanent trinities and offers fruitful and thought-provoking refelctionss on these themes.
The second section focuses on the implications of Trinitarian theology for other areas of Christian doctrine. The relation between creation and redemption, the Spirit and Jesus, Atonement, Baptism and Eucharist are all treated lucidly and engagingly.
Of particular interest is Gunton's always helpful work on the humanity of Christ and his ever-deepening theology of the Holy Spirit. His treatment of the relation between creation and redemption owes much Irenaeus and Athanasius and is certainly one of the most helpful treatments of those issue availible. His work on atonement as metaphor and transcenendtal is superb and engaging.
Gunton's treatment of baptism was also very good at countering the individualistic understandings of baptism in much of the western church. While his arguments for the practice of infant baptism may not be convincing to all (they aren't to me), they do give one pause in rashly thinking that a person who was baptized as an infant must necesarily be "rebaptized." Put differently, while Gunton's arguments for infant baptism as a church practice may not be totally convincing, they should at lease prevent advocates of "believer's baptism" from simply dismissing all infant baptisms as invalid. Finally, Gunton's treatment of the Eucharist as it relates to the polity of the church was also excellent and helpful. His ability to show how the Eucharist requires the Word is a necessary supplement to the works of creative minds like William Cavanaugh who have done substantial work in Eucharistic theology, yet have paid little attention to the interpretation and performance of the Word as a similarly constitutive ecclesial practice.
On the whole, this collection is excellent and insightful. It addresses important issue from a fully trinitarian perspective and has much to offer the theological audience. I am only sorry the Professor Gunton is no longer with us and cannot contribute more books like this to the discerning Christian leader.

Book Description
To the trained eye, a single cut flower can be more revealing than witnessing a sword duel to the death. When Musashi is given a flower cut by master swordsman Yagyu Sekishusai, he realizes he must seek this man out. Musashi has the feeling that Sekishusai may turn out to be the greatest swordsman of them all.
Customer Reviews:
A manga for a legend.......2007-01-04
Takehiko Inoue continues on the same high level with this episode of the life of Musashi. Althoug it tends to be a little to long to tell the life of one of his main contenders(7 volumes). For as much interesting as Sasaki Kojiro's life could be, this is a story about Musashi. That's why I'm not giving a five star rating.
Even better than the First.......2006-09-23
Vagabond is about the journey of Takezo, a young man, future master swordsman, who is in search of purpose and meaning to his life. In the first book he thinks its to become the best swordsman by challenging and defeating the best in the world. Having experienced disillusionment about people, he meets a monk (You'll love this guy) who strives to teach Takezo the value of a person, beginning with the youth. Book 2 gives us more of Takezo's background as he desends into a bestial killing machine. Can the monk help Takezo save himself? No alone.
If you like Manga that does not romanticizes war or swordsman, Vagabond should peak your interest. The storytelling is excellent in the drawings, more so than the text. I would rank such adept skill in the same arena as Lone Wolf and Cub. LWC is the standard for balancing poetic story telling and showing the hardcore grit of life as a swordsman. The Vagabond sereis starts with a youth, a teen, not a man with a child. So Takezo maturity is not yet there. What drives him to succeed and overcome his past makes this series promising. The characters show a range of emotions in this manga, and the situations they deal with does an excellent job of targeting a mature audience. Takezo struggle for "his" truth becomes ours to learn from his journey about becoming complete.
Read each book like a wine, one delicious sip at a time, enjoy the flavors.
A manga reader.......2003-03-21
Vagabond is one of the few stories I have read that make me sweat with anticipation before flipping to the next page. The action becomes so intense you will feel bad you're flipping through the pages and missing the superb artwork in you're haste to discover the outcome of the last few pages. Overall the action is some of the best I have seen in the manga format.
A powerful story of one man's quest to become "invincible under the sun", Miyamoto Musashi drifts through the world questioning his one principle: his strength. A raging beast in battle, Musashi, only knows what it is to fight but gradually learns of the world beyond strength, blood and death throughout the course of his duels. Some fights take up entire volumes but they are well worth it.
The one negative aspect of Vagabond would have to be that not all the volumes are translated yet, and the reader might have to wait for the next volume to come out. Maybe the age-old story of "the quest" might seem cliché to some readers but if you can stomach it, Vagabond does its take on Musashi's journey in swordsmanship incredibly well.
I am not a Samurai buff, or even a big action fan but Vagabond's has me sold. I have read most (no lie) of the English translated manga you can find in America and easily place Vagabond right up there with Nausicaa, Maison Ikkou, GTO, Akira and Ghost in the Shell. I believe that all types of comic readers can appreciate Vagabond although shojo manga (girls comics) readers might be a little put off by all the blood and death.
A must have.
Follows the book! OUTSTANDING!!!.......2002-08-14
I just found out about these titles, bought and read them before I could throw out the box they came in. Being a martial artist and student of Iaido (Japanese sword drawing), I am very Familiar with the Musashi story. Yet these books (vol I & II ) are told from a fresh perspective that keeps you tuned in. I can't wait for the rest of the series to follow.
The artwork alone makes these books worth buying.
Also worth a look are the Lone Wolf and Cub Series...

What causes chronic, debilitating back pain, one of the most common--and expensive to treat--ailments in the world? According to Robin McKenzie, a New Zealand physiotherapist for over 40 years and author of the wildly popular self-help manuals Treat Your Own Back and Treat Your Own Neck, distortion of the spinal disks--either from bad posture or injury--is the cause of the pain. The magic cure is the McKenzie Method--seven very specific exercises that allow the spine to return to its natural position. But forget the doctors--McKenzie asserts that the management of your back pain is your responsibility. Practice his seven unique exercises (the book includes seven each for the back and neck) consistently and at regular intervals and just about anyone can cure his or her own back or neck pain without the help of professionals. McKenzie believes self-treatment is actually more successful than medical interventions like surgery, chiropractic, or physical therapy, and indeed, recent research does show self-treatment to be a highly effective method.
More richly detailed and in-depth than his previous books, this volume is illustrated with over 100 photos and liberally peppered with real-life case histories. Starting with an analysis of how the back and neck work, it moves on to a discussion of the common causes of pain--bad posture is most often to blame. At the core is a detailed explanation of how to do the McKenzie Method exercises, when to apply them, and how to adjust your personal program over time. Included are instructions for people who suffer with acute back and neck pain (with appropriate cautions regarding when to call a medical professional) as well as for people in special situations like pregnant women, athletes, and seniors. An impassioned introduction by coauthor Craig Kubey, a satisfied convert after suffering intense back and neck pain as a result of several auto accidents, could very well make a believer out of anyone. --Marianne Painter

Customer Reviews:
At Last!.......2007-07-13
I've been in pain for 6 months but just a few days of these exercises and the pain is gone. It's a quick read and the illustrations make the exercises easy to do. The testimonials were overkill and I skipped most of them. Back doctors may be put out of business!
Changed my life.......2007-07-13
What can I say about this book that hasn't already been said? A few months ago, I hurt my back loading a motorcycle onto a trailer. I've hurt my back many times, and it's always been the same story: medium pain level, rest, ice, and after a week or two I'm ready to go. However, after a few weeks this had not gotten better - but worse. Slowly I started to feel pain in my buttock and then all the way down to my ankle, so that I was walking with a limp. I tried the same stretches that had always worked (bringing my knees to my chest, crossing one leg over the other and twisting), and they did nothing. My condition got so bad that I went to see my doctor, who diagnosed a slipped disc and sciatica, and referred me to physical therapy.
A few days later, I woke up in so much pain that I called in sick to work. I simply could not move and spent the morning in bed. I started to get frustrated, as my physical therapy appointment was not for a few more days and I felt that my condition would not improve. For the first time, I started to feel hopeless. I felt that I was looking at a long road of slow recovery, and guesses as to what would fix the issue. The feeling of powerlessness that you have when the core of your body is weak is hard to describe unless you've experienced it.
I started to get mad, and began researching physical therapy techniques online. Almost everything came back to the McKenzie technique, which seemed to be universally lauded. I called my doctor and asked if I could give it a try on my own, and she said yes, so I got myself down to the bookstore and hobbled to the checkout line with my copy. I was walking like a 70 year old man and I'm only 27!
That was Monday; today is Thursday and my back feels better than it has in months. The sharp, burning pain that would travel down my back and leg has been reduced to a dull throbbing in the center of my back.
These exercises really work! It seems so simple, but looking back everyone I know told me to bend over and touch my toes or something similar, to loosen up my back. This book takes a much broader view, with exercises that loosen the spine in more than one angle, gradually pushing the vertebrae and discs back into alignment. I noticed small changes within a few hours, and within 24 hours noticed that my pain had shifted to a central location. Within 48 hours, the spring was back in my step!
As for the writing and book itself, it is well organized, easy to understand and accompanied by easy to follow photographs.
As many other people have said, please do go to a doctor first, and get their OK before trying these exercises!
Worked for me!.......2007-07-09
My take in short: it's always good to see a doctor with you have significant back or neck pain, but McKenzie exercises and certified physical therapist worked miracles for me.
About a year ago, I began to develop symptoms of cervical radiculopathy. It began as a combination of pain in my upper right arm and tingling in the right hand. A few weeks later I discovered that extension (bending my head back) intensified the pain, and flexion (bending forward) relieved it. As the symptoms gradually got worse, I consulted a chiropractor and an accupuncturist, but no improvement. Next I saw an orthopedic surgeon and a pain doctor. The orthopedist, with the help of x-rays and an MRI, provided a clear diagnosis (herniated disk at C5-C6), but the first option he offered, pain relievers, didn't help, and the next two (cortisone epidural injection, neck surgery) seemed like bad ideas after I'd researched them. (The epidural may or may not help in the short term, but can make things worse long term. The surgery is a roll of the dice, where you may get better, worse, or stay the same, partly depending on the skill of the surgeon. I have one friend who had catastrophic results from back surgery, which influenced my thinking.)
I discovered McKenzie's book on Amazon, bought it, and began doing the exercises. Things got gradually better until a long airplane flight where I think I slept too long with my head slumped forward (because leaning back was too painful). My symptoms got much worse. For the next several weeks, I had severe, 24/7 pain in my neck and arm - I learned more than I wanted to know about how bad pain can be and how much it can disrupt your life. Almost nothing helped, and I stopped the exercises because I wasn't sure if they would help or hurt.
I got a consult with the most experienced and credentialed McKenzie physical therapist in my area. He looked at the report from the orthopedist and conducted his own exam. He did a variety of exercises and manipulations in his office, advised me to do the McKenzie exercises more aggressively, and added some exercises to increase strength in my right arm. After three visits in the first week, not much changed, but after a couple more visits in the second week, I got better fast. Within a month, I was symptom-free, and, two months later, still am. Apparently, the combination of his manipulations and the exercise program pushed the disk back where it belonged, eliminating pressure on the nerve.
I now follow McKenzie's advice for what to do when you no longer have pain, doing neck exercises twice a day. It only takes a few minutes each session and it's more than worth it if it keeps the pain away.
It really works!.......2007-06-02
Three months ago I developed a bulging disc in my back. The pain was in my back and radiated down my right leg. The pain during standing, sitting, and during exercise was excruciating. I could not even stand for more than one minute. I tried going to a chiropractor, orthopedic doctor, physical therapy, and prescription medication. I paid over $1,000 in insurance co-payments. After all that the pain was still there. A friend told me about this book. I have been doing the exercises exactly as it says to in the book for a week now. I have virtually no pain. Even when I do have pain it is much more mild and it is manageable. I stopped taking the prescription medications. I highly recommend this book to anyone suffering from pain like I described. It really works.
Must read for anyone with back pain (especially athletes)........2007-05-28
Everyone's back issue is different (as judged by the contrasting reviews of this book), but this book and the McKenzie method has changed my back pain situation dramatically.
I was diagnosed as having degenerative disc disease (osteoarthritis) and told very explicitly to give up running and lifting free weights.
My pain was in the thoracic (middle spine) and developed when driving a car, sitting at the computer, and during the end of my run (more on the importance of that later).
I also have been doing yoga twice daily for over six years. The doctor told me to continue with the yoga.
While the yoga was of course VERY helpful, I still developed the pain the above described positions.
The problem for myself and millions of others, was the totally unhealthy position of sitting at a desk. We slouch over, which eventually leads to long term pain.
The problem in no way shape or form was my running or weight lifting per se. The reason I was in pain at the tail end of runs was my form suffered, crouching over.
On the first weekend with Dr. McKenzie, I followed all of his directions. In essence, this means stretching every two hours with backbends and forward bends. I am allowed to take breaks, and use them for this at work.
Almost immediately, the pain decreased, and the near constant discomfort was gone. I combined this with the recommendation of the book The Posture Prescription to squat or kneel. I no longer use a chair at work. (Yes, everyone asks me, and I hate explaining myself, but it's a small price to pay).
Dr. McKenzie gave me (and many other athletes) great solace in explaining that our physical activity was NOT the source of our problems, but rather inactivity after exercise. Crouching, slumping, etc.
Now, between sets I do five-six McKenzie standing backbends. During runs, at the half-way point, I do a forward bend followed by a few backbends.
I'm nearly certain Dr. McKenzie can help you take control of your back problems, too.
Thanks to his sage advice, I'm running pain free again, lifting, and I now use a lumbar roll (his are available on Amazon.com) in the car.
Thank you Dr. McKenzie.

Paul Prudhomme blackened our taste buds forever with Chef Paul Prudhomme's Louisiana Kitchen, which kicked off a craze for his spicy, rich brand of regional Southern fare. Sixteen years later and noticeably thinner, Prudhomme brings us his latest, Chef Paul Prudhomme's Louisiana Tastes, which nods to the trends toward simplified and healthier cooking while taking into account the expanded choice of international ingredients now available in most supermarkets. Blackening is now called bronzing, but Prudhomme's food still explodes with flavor, even when those dry seasoning mixes are simplified, sometimes to a mere six ingredients.
Many dishes, like Beef in Four-by-Four Chile Cream and Andouille Shepherd's Pie, still call for calorie-laden cream, sour cream, mayonnaise, cheese, butter, and sausage in various combinations. But there are plenty of healthy options, such as Chicken Smothered in Black Beans (which uses a mere two tablespoons of oil), meatless Stuffed Eggplant Pirogues, and a brown-rice salad topped with roasted nuts and raisins. Besides the lighter fare, there's also a noticeable international tilt; Prudhomme plays creatively with imported exotica such as balsamic vinegar and coconut milk, but always in a Louisiana context. Shrimp in Tropical Cream is a Creole-cum-Indian curry studded with diced papaya and mango, while Crab Claws Vinaigrette fuses white balsamic vinegar, rice vinegar, and Japanese mirin rice wine with his signature mix of cayenne, black pepper, and onion and garlic powders.
Prudhomme's recipes usually require a commitment, as he doesn't stint on the number of ingredients or cooking steps. But the average two-page length of the recipes is deceptive: They read long because Prudhomme is beside you every minute, describing how the food will taste and bringing up interesting tidbits related to the cooking process. Novice cooks who pay attention will pick up valuable tips, while devotees will appreciate how Prudhomme's palate has expanded beyond the borders of Louisiana. --Dana Jacobi
Book Description
The master of Louisiana cuisine invites everyone to taste the new flavors of Louisiana cooking
Chef Paul Prudhomme put Louisiana cooking on the map. Fifteen years have passed since the publication of his groundbreaking
Chef Paul Prudhomme's Louisiana Kitchen. Now Chef Paul returns to his culinary roots to show us how Louisiana cooking has evolved.
Today, the culinary influences of Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and many other cuisines are being integrated into "traditional" Louisiana cooking. Chef Paul explores how Louisiana cooks have incorporated such newly available ingredients as lemongrass, fresh tamarind, and papaya into their dishes. As Chef Paul says, any Louisiana cook worth his or her salt will work with what's available -- familiar or not -- and turn it into something delicious. Andouille Spicy Rice gets its zing! from chipotle and pasilla chile peppers, and Roasted Lamb with Fire-Roasted Pepper Sauce is flavored with jalapeno peppers and fennel. Classic jambalaya, etouffee, and gumbo are reinvented with such far-flung ingredients as star anise, cilantro, yuca, plantain, and mango.
Chef Paul Prudhomme's Louisiana Kitchen is an exciting exploration of the new flavors that have made Louisiana cooking even better.

Customer Reviews:
Excellent but imperfect.......2004-11-13
If you look at my other reviews of Prudhomme's cookbooks, you won't be surprised that I bought this one. Unfortunately, the quality of testing has slipped, so that not all recipes work just the way he says. I say this at the start, because in 95% of cases, these recipes are wonderful.
This is definitely not yo' mama's Louisiana cooking. But Prudhomme adds all this "taste as you go" information that is fascinating and helpful. He tells you, you see, what a dish will taste like at each stage. For example, he remarks that something is going to be very spicy and salty, with an undertone of ginger. Okay, you taste it at that point, and see what he's saying. Then you add the chicken (or whatever), and that cuts the flavor and builds it up.
Prudhomme is into flavor layers. Basically the idea is that you have caramelized stuff, then very cooked stuff, then lightly cooked stuff, then just barely cooked stuff, all going at the same time. At each layer, the flavors are different, even the spices. If you can tell the difference between a raw onion and classic (good) French onion soup, you know what I'm talking about. And this cookbook is a primer in how to build layers of "meaning" in your cooking by these techniques.
Okay, not every recipe works perfectly, but most of them are excellent as they stand. The Country Chicken Pie will kick your [...]. The Beef Stew Pirogues are unbelievable. And some of the desserts are things you'll dream about. I actually had a guy call me to tell me he was quite literally dreaming about a meal I made for him, primarily from this cookbook.
The other thing is that Prudhomme has gotten better as a teacher. The more you read and cook with this book, the more you will get how this cuisine works, and be able to construct your own recipes. I have done this with great success, and I give him total credit for it. I make things up, people tell me I'm a genius, and I know that really it's Chef Paul who's taught me everything I know.
And, yes, as one reviewer noted, your kids will like this stuff too. Weird but true. If you want your small children to eat leafy greens, cook them this way and stand well back.
A lot of people object that Paul Prudhomme is too into hot food, and if you hate spicy food you're going to hate this cookbook. But you can tone things down: just make up the spice mix and use less of it than he says. But it's very odd. I love his Lambalaya recipe, which I make with orzo instead of rice, and while you're cooking it the dish is WAY too spicy. But once it's done and you wait about an hour before serving, since you've got to pick up the kids and get everything ready, the spice layer drops wildly and suddenly the thing balances perfectly.
It's black magic and voodoo, that's what it is. Must be.
now yaw cookin!.......2003-02-18
This cookbook is great. We made the Palmetto Chicken last night. Wonderful! Even the kids liked it. I am coming to appreciate the great contributions Chef Paul has made to American cooking. I'd love to visit K Paul's someday.
Lousianna Cooking?.......2000-08-14
Living in the south, and so close to Lousianna. I found nothing familiar in this cookbook. Dishes were more of a "new cuisine" than the standards that we have come to love and enjoy. Ingredients in some of the cooking are not at all familiar to cajun cooking. Some are down right hard to find. If you are expecting a book of authentic cajun cooking, do not buy this book. If you are wanting something experimental and off the beaten path, this is for you.
exhaustive insight into cajun and creole cookery.......2000-05-14
The man who changed culinary history (blackened everything!) presents a masterpiece. Anorexics need not apply! Must have addition for collectors of American Regional Cuisine books.
Louisiana Cooking at It's Best..........2000-04-21
